If i was to calculate the gear ratio of different gears on my mountain bike would i be able to get a bit of an idea of the difference in feel or do you think it wouldn’t really transfer over? BB size is depended on the frame and crank though.

Larry Edgar Frame Promo 2. I’m ordering my frame and fork freewgeel and I think I’ve decided to buy a new casette wheel with fgeewheel 9 tooth driver. The cranks I have now are 1 piece and the frame that I’m getting has a sealed mid bb so I’m gonna have to buy a new crankset and sprocket for the bike anyways- I’m thinking that I might go with a slightly higher toothed sprocket to give the bike a bit more top speed.

Some drivers might fit other hubs but a lot of factors go into that freewheels, what I assume you have, are larger and thread onto the hubshell on the outside and only go as low as 13t 12t uncommonly though and most of the time don ‘t include a freewheel these handy photos courtesy of Vital will be helpful in explaining for visual aid so, you CAN’T put a driver on a freewheel hub but you can put a cassette hub on the wheel you currently have Thank you so much man I’ve definitely got my head wrapped around it now!
Well, 12t freewheels exist but freewheels aren’t very prevalent in freestyle bmx anymore. Does hub spacing tell me which kind of freewheel I can get? I’m looking at rear wheels to buy because I already have a front wheel ready but I’m super confused with picking one that will be compatible with a smaller toothed freewheel. Mike Gray – Indian Summer 1.
