I dont know how to run the sys file since xp doesnt allow me to do it. I posted for help in a number of forums and all folks could tell me was that Atheros was garbage. Is there something I can do to get it to stay on the screen longer?
Hello Luvr, I am ready to pull my hair out. Paul, was about to post under wireless lan problems per your suggestion and I came across another post where the person knew it was the right driver so uninstalled and reinstalled several times before it worked.

My NIC also consistently has an “excellent” connection status. Now, everything works fine! Similar Threads – Solved desktop won’t.
